YOUR TASKS

  • Install: Whether it's a large heating, air-conditioning or ventilation system, a modern bathroom or an environmentally friendly solar system, you'll assemble them and install them on construction sites.

  • Maintenance: You regularly check state-of-the-art systems that are all about environmental protection and energy saving - with specialist knowledge and special tools.

  • Advise: With your expertise, you develop completely individual solutions for your customers and explain the systems to them.

We require a secondary school diploma (or higher), the ability to work in a team and a sound basic understanding of technology. Willingness to work, friendliness and a competent approach to customers are also good prerequisites for this multifaceted profession.

Your training content:

Your training as a plant mechanic for sanitary, heating and air-conditioning technology will prepare you for the challenges of your future career - and includes these topics:

  • Testing, measuring and maintenance of systems and system components

  • Machining, joining, manual cutting, chipping and forming

  • Installing electrical assemblies and components

  • Maintenance of operating equipment and supply engineering plants and systems

  • Assembly and disassembly of pipelines and ducts

  • Assembling measuring, control, regulation and safety equipment

  • Transporting components and assemblies

  • Consideration of sustainable energy and water utilization systems

  • Carrying out insulation, sealing, protection and hygiene measures

  • Building management systems

  • Organization of the training company, vocational training as well as labor and collective bargaining law

  • Safety and health protection

  • Environmental protection and sustainability

  • Digitalized working environment

  • Operational, technical and customer-oriented communication, planning and order processing

  • Control and assessment of work results and implementation of quality assurance measures
